What cookies and local storage mean
Cookies are small pieces of data a website can ask your browser to keep and return with later requests. Local storage is a separate browser facility that can retain values for a site. Both can be used for preferences; neither is needed by the editorial navigation or photo-record guides provided here.
Ordinary browser caching is different. Your browser may keep copies of images, stylesheets and scripts to load pages efficiently. Hosting or network infrastructure may also have its own delivery and security behaviour.
What the supplied code uses
- Editorial pages: no cookie-setting or persistent browser-storage code.
- Navigation: temporary open or closed state in the current page.
- Scroll effects: temporary visibility state; no stored browsing profile.
- Contact draft: text held in the current page, not saved by the website to local storage.
- Analytics and advertising: none included in the supplied editorial code.
Separate consent controls
A consent control may be added separately by the publishing environment. If one appears, consult the information supplied by that control for the preference record it creates, the choices available and how to change them. This page does not claim a specific storage name, lifetime or provider for an independently deployed service.
Accepting or declining an optional service should not be treated as sending a contact draft. Those are separate actions. The supplied message tool never sends its contents automatically.
Clipboard, downloads and email
Choosing Copy writes the prepared draft to your device clipboard when supported. Choosing Download creates a text file on your device. These actions do not create a site cookie, but the copied text or downloaded file can remain until you remove it or your device clears it.
Your browser may offer form autofill or session restoration independently of this code. Following an email link opens your chosen email application, which has its own storage and privacy arrangements.
Managing your browser
Use your browser's site-data and privacy settings to inspect or delete stored data for brixaloyardmin.pics. Controls differ between browsers and devices. Clearing site data can also remove any preference record created by a separately installed consent service, so you may be asked to choose again.
Blocking cookies does not prevent every kind of technical processing involved in delivering a webpage. See Your Privacy Record for the distinction between local tools, email and possible hosting logs.
